My practice focuses on the probate of estates and estate planning. A large part of my practice is probating decedents' estates. I also work to resolve title problems to real estate, which often arise when estates were not properly probated in the past. Another part of my practice is handling guardianships and conservatorships for incapacitated individuals. I have an in-depth knowledge of the ins and outs of probate practice in Superior Court as a result of 10 years of working with the Register of Wills Office and litigating cases in the Probate Division. I've developed a "real world" perspective in doing estate planning: years of litigating problems has taught me how to draft documents which are simple to execute and administer, and how to help people plan for possible incapacity.
